Antonio Alcalá turned a stamp into a puzzle: twenty-five coloured squares, each one a letter drawn in thick maze-like strokes. Read them in the right order and they spell a short phrase. Issued 14 July 2021 in Washington, DC — with the solution printed on the back of the pane, so no one is left stuck.
One complete pane of 20 self-adhesive Forever stamps.
Something different for the mail
- Genuinely conversational — recipients tend to notice this one and write back about it.
- A favourite with puzzle and typography collectors.
- Keep the pane intact to preserve the printed solution on the reverse.
Mint never hinged, original gum.
